About the role
We are seeking experienced Business Development to lead our commercial expansion in the UK and European regions. This is a senior role for a dynamic individual who thrives on building strategic partnerships and driving sales in a technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and engage key decision-makers within target organisations
- Proactively generate new business through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and industry networking
- Manage and progress opportunities through the full sales funnel using CRM systems
- Maintain accurate records, forecasts, and client documentation
- Lead sales meetings, technical presentations, and commercial negotiations with senior stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with oil majors, terminal operators, and industrial service providers
- Arrange and attend client visits, site meetings, conferences, and exhibitions across the region
- Provide market insights to inform product development and strategic
Essential Criteria
- 5+ years’ proven experience in B2B sales
- Proven track record of winning and closing high-value deals and managing complex sales
- Experience managing long sales cycles in a technical or service-led environment
- Strong presentation and excellent negotiation skills in formal
- Energetic, self-motivated and results
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work
- Willingness to travel as required across assigned
- relationship management skills
- Strong IT skills (CRM systems, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential commercial information
Desirable Criteria
- Previous B2B sales experience in the oil and gas industry, industrial services, or
