The Role
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Support Specialist to join our growing team. This is a key role supporting our engineers by sourcing unique, high-quality components for specialist robotic systems. You will research off-the-shelf solutions, manage suppliers, and ensure compliance with strict safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Work closely with design engineers to understand technical requirements.
• Source one-off and low-volume components for electrical, hydraulic, pumping, and
industrial vacuum systems.
• Research and identify innovative off-the-shelf solutions for complex engineering
challenges.
• Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, lead times, and terms.
• Ensure all components meet ATEX Zone 0 and relevant compliance standards.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and manage delivery timelines.

Essential Criteria
• Experience: 3+ years in technical, sourcing or procurement in an engineering or
manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and industrial equipment.
• Excellent research, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams and solve problems creatively.
Desirable Criteria
• Degree or certification in engineering.
• Experience with robotic systems or specialist industrial equipment.
• Familiarity with ATEX-rated components and compliance requirements.
